What is api and webhooks?

The Gandiv API lets your website, app or back office system talk to your CRM directly. Create a lead from a form, update a status when an order ships, or pull call data into your own dashboard. Webhooks work the other way: when something changes in Gandiv, we call a URL you provide, so your systems react without polling. Everything is permission checked, rate limited and written to an audit log.

Benefits

Capture leads from anywhere

Post leads from your website, app or ad landing page with a single authenticated request.

React to events

Subscribe to events like lead created or status changed and trigger work in other systems.

Inbound URL per source

Create a unique inbound webhook URL for each source and map its payload to your fields.

Safe by design

Tokens carry scopes, calls are rate limited, and writes support idempotency keys to prevent duplicates.

Delivery you can inspect

Each outbound call is signed, retried with back-off and listed in a delivery log with its response.

Custom modules included

Every custom module you build gets its own endpoints and webhooks with no extra work.

In detail

Endpoints

Read and write the records you use

Endpoints cover leads, contacts, tasks, calls, notes and your custom modules, with filtering, paging and field selection. Responses are JSON and follow the same permissions as the user or token that makes the request.

  • Custom module endpoints
  • Filters and paging

Authentication

Tokens with scopes

Create API tokens in settings and limit each to the actions it needs, such as create leads only. Revoke a token at any moment. Secrets are shown once when created and are never exposed to the browser afterwards.

  • Token per integration
  • Scoped access
  • Revoke any time

Samples

Copy-paste examples to start

The developer documentation includes examples to create a lead, update a stage and subscribe to events using curl and common languages. A test mode lets you try requests without touching live data.

Limits

Rate limits and reliable delivery

Requests are rate limited per token to protect every tenant. Idempotency keys make retries safe. Outbound webhooks are signed with HMAC and retried with back-off, with a delivery log so you can see what was sent and what came back.

  • Per-token rate limit
  • Idempotency keys
  • HMAC-signed webhooks

How it works

  1. 1

    Create a token

Generate a scoped token in settings and note it down once.

  2. 2

    Send or subscribe

Post a lead to the API or add a webhook URL for the events you need.

  3. 3

    Check the logs

Use delivery and request logs to confirm everything arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Is the API free to use?

API access is part of the product. Rate limits and availability by plan are listed on the pricing page.

How do I verify a webhook is from Gandiv?

Each outbound webhook carries an HMAC signature that you verify with your shared secret before trusting the payload.

What if my server is down when a webhook fires?

We retry with back-off and show each attempt in the delivery log. After the retries are exhausted you can resend the event manually.

Can I create leads from my website form?

Yes, either through the API with a scoped token or through a unique inbound webhook URL with field mapping.

Where is the developer documentation?

Visit the developers section of the site for endpoints, authentication and examples.
