Number types

Pick the number that suits your business

Use a local landline-style number for trust, a mobile-style number for easy callbacks, or a toll-free number for customer service. Availability and rules come from your telephony partner, and Gandiv shows what you can connect.

  • Local, mobile-style and toll-free
  • Bring a number you own
  • Multiple numbers per workspace

Call routing

Send each call to the right person

Route by menu choice, caller history, time or team availability. A known customer can ring their previous agent first, then fall back to a group, so repeat callers reach someone who already knows them.

  • Ring previous owner first
  • Round-robin ring groups
  • After-hours voicemail

Missed-call capture

Turn every dropped call into a lead

A caller who hangs up in the menu is still logged as a lead with their number and the option they chose. Your team gets a callback task, and a WhatsApp or SMS follow-up can go out automatically.

  • Logged even if abandoned
  • Auto callback task
  • Optional follow-up message

Working hours

Open, closed and holiday handling

Set business hours and a holiday list so callers hear the right message and are offered voicemail or a callback request. Mornings start with a clear queue of requests instead of a pile of unknown missed calls.

  • Callback request option

Setup steps

Go live in a few steps

Connect your provider, choose a number, design the IVR, test with a call and publish. KYC and number allocation are handled by the provider and can take time, so we show status in the setup checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Do I buy the number from Gandiv?

Numbers and call minutes come through your telephony partner, with charges billed by them. Gandiv connects to the partner and manages the IVR and routing.

How long does it take to get a number?

It depends on the provider and KYC documents. Some numbers are ready the same day, and others take several working days.

Can I use my existing business number?

Often yes, subject to the provider and number type. Your provider can advise on porting or forwarding to a new virtual number.

Does the IVR support Hindi?

Yes. You can upload recorded prompts or use text-to-speech in Hindi and English, and switch language by menu option.

What happens if all agents are busy?

Callers can wait in a queue, hear a message, go to voicemail or request a callback. You choose the behaviour per flow.
