What is a travel and tourism CRM?

A travel CRM follows each trip from the first enquiry to the feedback call after the traveller is home. Gandiv stores destination, dates, number of travellers, budget, hotel class and passport or visa details on the lead. Agents build an itinerary, cost it from supplier rates, add their markup and share a clean quote. Advances and balance instalments are tracked with payment links, vouchers are generated at confirmation, and reminders flag passport expiry and visa deadlines. Managers see which destinations and sources bring paying travellers rather than only enquiries.

Why travel and tourism teams need one

Problem

Itineraries are rebuilt from scratch for every enquiry.

With Gandiv

Saved day-wise templates by destination are copied, edited and sent in minutes.

Problem

Supplier rates and your margin live in different sheets.

Costing records supplier price, markup and final quote on one screen, with margin per trip.

Problem

Balance payments are chased by memory.

With Gandiv

Advance and instalment schedules send payment links and show who is overdue before departure.

Problem

A passport turns out to be expiring a week before travel.

With Gandiv

Passport expiry and visa status fields raise alerts well ahead of the trip.

Problem

Travellers revise the plan five times and the versions get mixed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I build itineraries inside Gandiv?

Yes. Create reusable days and trips by destination, edit them per traveller and share a PDF. Versions are saved on the lead.

How does supplier costing and markup work?

You enter the cost per supplier item and apply a markup. The quote shows the selling price while your team sees cost, markup and margin.

Can it send passport expiry reminders?

Yes. Passport expiry is a date field, and alerts can be set to warn staff and the traveller when validity is under six months or before a visa deadline.

Do you handle GST and TCS on tour packages?

You can add tax lines to the quote, but the rates and treatment depend on the package and your registration. Confirm the GST and TCS position with your CA before invoicing.

Does it book flights or hotels?

No. Gandiv holds the lead, itinerary, costing and payments. You still book through your suppliers or booking engine and then record the confirmation.
